I just delivered Eadaoin and Andys’ beautiful Queensberrry wedding album to them. They have kindly allowed me to share some photos from their lovely wedding day. The wedding was held in lovely Clogheen church and reception in Marybrough House.
I hadn’t been in Clogheen church in ages, so I dropped in for a look around early the morning of the wedding. It has had a lot of work done on it lately and is really bright and airy. There I met Eadaoins dad who was buzzing around perfecting the décor! Arranging baskets and candles and scrolls, keen to have things just right for his daughter. Back in their home things were calm and relaxed. Eadaoin and her sisters having a lovely morning, chatting and reminiscing while getting hair and make up done.
I don’t think the couple stopped smiling and laughing once during the ceremony! It was lovely! The two were just so ridiculously happy and clearly very relaxed. Andy adding extra comedy by dropping the wedding ring just before putting it on Eadaoins hand!
After lots of hugging and kissing from guests we headed for Marybrough House in Douglas.
I love The Marybrough, it is a great venue with lots of great spots for photos, the house its self is beautiful and the gardens were ideal for this group. The children could run around and we could do our few group photos while the rest of the guests kept and eye on us and visa versa. I think this is really nice, because there is no sense of the couple having left the party.
Once we had our few organised photos done, Eadaoin and Andy joined their guests for a few drinks and some fudge (there was a fudge selection!) Then everyone went to the dining room, where we were entertained and touched by lovely speeches.
Thank you Eadaoin and Andy for letting me share some of your photos and I wish ye the best of luck in your new home, and adventures in 2018!
