I was so honoured to be wedding photographer for Maria and Alan last year. A wedding is always a very special day, but this one particularly so; Maria and Alan were married on her parents wedding anniversary, unfortunately Marias mum has passed away. As when ever some one very close is missing from a wedding day she was missed, and no doubt thought of lots during the day, but what makes this wedding so memorable for me is that it was so much fun. From when I arrived in the morning to when I left that evening there was non stop laughter and smiles. Maria got ready at home with the help of her bridesmaids, and it was just a short spin in the limo down to Castletownroche. The church had just been repainted that week, I think the scaffolding had just come down the day before! After the beautiful ceremony the bridal party headed to Bridgetown Priory for some photographs, followed up by a surprise picnic organized by Maria’s dad! Everyone made their way to the very lovely Springfort Hall, where guest enjoyed their champagne reception while being entertained by a magician. We took family photographs on the lawn.

For their wedding album, the couple opted for a panoramic , duo style with ivory mounts and a blueberry contemporary genuine leather cover (so lovely and soft). It came from Queensberry of course!

Here are photos from the day and of the album.
