Fiona and Gerrys wedding was a lovely, intimate, family affair. The couple opted for a small wedding celebration, treating their nearest and dearest to a lovely evening in Carrig County House. What a great venue for a small wedding! Luxurious but laid back was the order of the day.
The humanist celebrant had everyone in fits of laughter and then holding back tears as she recounted stories of Fiona and Gerrys life together to date. There was major “Awhhs” as the couples young nieces and nephews read poems. And finally delight as the couple were pronounced husband and wife!
After much hugging and kissing and congratulating we nipped outside and managed to get some family group shots. Myself and Fiona and Gerry did a quick walk around the garden before rejoining their guests for drinks and chats.
When I left everyone was sitting down to enjoy a beautiful meal together. The atmosphere was lovely, you could tell the evening was only just getting started.
