I had a fantastic day last month working with some amazingly talented and beautiful people at Fota House and Gardens. The house and gardens are open to the public, the gardens are free to visit and there is a small charge to visit the house. It is an amazing back drop for wedding photography and is defiantly somewhere couples in the area should consider. The magnificent interior of the house makes for a great place to do wedding photographs, particularly given our increasingly wet Irish climate. The charge of €250 allows you exclusive use of the house, parking at the house with red carpet and champagne on arrival. Wedding couples may use the gardens free of charge! So let me tell you a bit about the team that worked on making the whole thing, the dresses came from Kate in Bella Bleu on South Mall, if you want to read more about the various dress do so here on One Fab Days’s blog. Delighted to be featured on here! The guys suits came from Morleys mensware on Daunts Square. My good friend Avelin Quirke of Bobby Brown did the make up, and the very talented Breda and Daniel from Guapa created the fantastic hair styles. Thank you also to Jill from Wild who helped out with plenty of advice, ideas, accessories and flowers. Our beautiful models were Nathalie de Thaibault, Ruth O’Mahony, Luke Twomey and Gary Cantwell. Thank you all so very much.
