This was the first wedding of my Summer season 2018 and I was delighted to get it off to such a great start. Today I am pleased to share this bright and beautiful Kilshane House wedding.

Lovely Grainne and Eoghan came home from Switzerland for their wedding celebration. I think you’ll agree they choose a pretty impressive venue in which to host and celebrate with family and friends.

I love a wedding where the ceremony and party are all in the one location. Not a moment of the day wasted in driving from A to B, once everyone arrives they are there to stay. Also the very impressive conservatory at Kilshane House makes a pretty great location for a wedding ceremony. On this occasion Humanist Geraldine O’Neill was the celebrant. The meaningful ceremony had many lovely touches, with a soundtrack of laughter and ringing bells!

Grainne and Eoghan wanted very natural wedding photographs. The brief was to keep the posing to a minimum! This comes as music to my ears! The few organised photos we did took about 10 mins and we were able to do them within eye shot of the guests. I love when it works out like that!

The couple had loads of time to catch up with all their friends who had travelled from far and wide to celebrate with them. And thus I had lots of time to get candid shots of everyone. An easy job as everyone was having a great day, enjoy the sun, atmosphere and stunning surroundings. What a great wedding!

Thank you Grainne and Eoghan for having me as your wedding photographer and for allowing me to share on here.
